形態特徵

Annual or perennial herb; stems erect. 10-25 cm long, glabrous, branched above.
Leaves linear, 7-14 mm long, 1-1.7 mm wide, acute to obtuse at apex, connate and forming a short tube at base, chartaceous or somewhat thickened, glabrous on both surfaces.
Flowers solitary, terminal or axillary; pedicels 1-3 cm long, more or less glandular hairy, erect after anthesis; sepals 5, sometimes 4, elliptic or ovate, 2-2.5 mm long, white along margins; petals 5, rarely 4 or absent, broadly ovate, 2 mm long, obtuse at apex; stamens 5-10, the filaments free, slender, glabrous.
Capsules globose or ovoid, 2-3.5 mm long; seeds round-reniform, 0.5-0.7 mm long, 0.4-0.6 mm wide, yellowish-brown or dark brown, smooth or scarcely papillate.

分布

台灣 : medium to low elevations and in coastal regions in the northern and central parts of the island.
世界 : China, Korea and Japan.
